In a dark alley with a lovely damsel who's passed out?

A dark and seedy night...

The air is still and non moving, no discarded newspapers spinning wildly out of control.
There's a sense of stillness - you're with company.

A lovely delictable beauty - a bit on the small side. She's passed out from your night of wild parties - bars and night clubs. It's the dead of night, 2:00 am to be precise.

You have a choice:
a) be a real man and stand guard until she wakes up?
b) Take advantage of her.

What choice do you make?
The fact is this: in this hypothetical situation you come out smelling like a Saint! You would stand guard like a true gentleman - laying down your life if need be!
But:
The real you would have a much harder time making the RIGHT choice if this happened in real life. Apart from the threat of being caught which would actually make the choice more exciting, there are other factors that act as deterent: her word against yours, proof of forced entry etc...

That said - choice is a double edged sword! Make with care!

In the heap of things and trying to decide where the end of the tunnel lies...

In the fish or chips world - you're always presented with a choice...

Do I get up or do I stay put in bed hugging the bed cover closer, snuggling into my bed - searching for the warmest spot my body can find?

Do I wear the stipped tie with a white shirt or the dotted tie with the red shirt?

The point I'm trying to make is simple - your life is a series of choices and decisions - made to bring you to this specific point in your life. The point that means you're likely reading this blog.

But, we're human beings - so we must always look back to the past and examine our "choices".
Where they the right ones? Could I have made a better choice?

What can I say? Even this is a choice that has been made - I have decided to write about choice and its influence in our lives...

The choice to do good or evil, the decision to be fair or to cheat...

Whatever choice you make - beware! The ramifications could have long lasting implications for you and those around you.
